The garden path — frangipani and heliconia crowding the stone walk
Detail of the garden — leaves and light

The garden

Grown in, not landscaped

Twenty years of frangipani drop their flowers on the path. The pond has its own politics — koi, dragonflies, one patient heron the staff pretend not to feed.

The long pool flanked by stone guardians, morning light through the palms

The pool

Your own water

Wide stone steps walk you in. Stone guardians watch the length of it. By ten the sun is on the deck; by four the frangipani shade takes over.

The open living pavilion — carved teak columns, deep sofas, the garden on every side

The pavilion

A century of teak

The living pavilion is a reclaimed Javanese Joglo — carved columns raised long before anyone thought to bottle water. High dark roof, no walls to speak of. The house breathes. So do you.

The bedrooms

Sleep well

Four rooms, four baths of river stone. Canopy nets, good cotton, air-conditioning that works. Mornings arrive slowly here — let them.

Evening — the garden and pool glowing green-gold under a deepening sky

Evening

Five minutes from everything, far from all of it

Dinner is a barefoot walk away — or the chef comes to you. Either way you end up back here, by the water, wondering why you ever ate anywhere loud.

Stay

The villa is yours

Kept daily

A staff of four

Villa Aniri comes with the people who have kept it for years — housekeeping every morning, a gardener who knows each tree by temperament, security at night, and a villa attendant who can arrange nearly anything: a driver to the airport, a table you couldn't get yourself, breakfast before a surf.

A private chef can cook in the villa's kitchen — Indonesian, or whatever you grew up with — shopping the morning markets and leaving the kitchen cleaner than they found it. In-villa massage, a yoga teacher on the deck, babysitting, laundry: asked for by breakfast, arranged by noon.

The numbers

Room for eight — or sixteen

Four bedrooms, each with its own stone bathroom, sleeping eight in comfort. For bigger gatherings, the villa next door — Villa Sukacita, its sister — takes the party to sixteen without anyone sharing a sink. One garden wall between you; one message to open the gate.

Nightly from IDR 6.831.000. Direct bookings carry the best rate we offer anywhere — you're dealing with the family, not a platform.

The lane

Seminyak, on foot

The villa hides in a garden lane off Jalan Kayu Aya — what everyone calls the Oberoi strip. Five minutes' stroll puts you among the best restaurants on the island; a few minutes more and there's sand under your feet and a sunset that draws applause. Close enough to walk to dinner barefoot. Far enough that the loudest thing at night is the pond.

Gatherings

The whole place, yours

Some things deserve a house rather than a venue. Villa Aniri takes small weddings, milestone birthdays, creative offsites and retreats — the whole property in your hands, the staff already briefed, the neighbours already charmed. Tell us what you're imagining and we'll tell you, honestly, whether the villa suits it. If it doesn't, we'll say so.
