Gatherings
Some things deserve a house, not a venue
For the weddings that want to stay small, the birthdays with a zero in them, the retreats and the offsites — the whole villa, exclusively yours.
Dinners
One long table
The table by the pool seats a proper dinner party, candles on the water included. The chef builds the menu with you a day ahead; the staff run the evening so the hosts get to be guests at their own party.
Ceremonies
Vows in a garden
Small ceremonies suit the lawn — an aisle of frangipani, the Joglo as backdrop, and nowhere anyone needs to hurry off to. We host the kind of wedding where every guest actually knows the couple.
What suits the house
Honestly, this is what works here
- Long-table dinners & private chef evenings
- Small weddings & vow renewals in the garden
- Milestone birthdays that end by the pool
- Creative offsites — 8 working guests, 16 with next door
- Small retreats — yoga on the deck, workshops in the pavilion
- Photo & film shoots — the light does half the work
And what doesn’t: big loud parties. The villa lives in a real neighbourhood, with real neighbours we like — music winds down by ten, and anything above a few dozen guests is happier at a beach club, and we’ll say so. Honesty up front saves everyone a bad Saturday.
How it works
Tell us what you're imagining
Write to us with the occasion, the number of people, and the date you have in mind. We’ll come back — usually within a day — with an honest read on fit, a full price with nothing hiding in it, and the things we’ve learned from the last time someone did what you're planning. The staff have hosted more of these than anyone admits; let them make you look effortless.
